HOW YOU CAN HELP

The cost of running the Trust’s core programmes is £30,000 - £35,000 per year.  We rely mainly on the support of grant-awarding institutions and charities, with additional funds coming from private donors and local businesses.  We are also indebted to our magnificent team of enthusiastic volunteers who carry out vital habitat management.  If you would like to support our work please see the sections on donating and volunteering below. By helping the Trust through these activities you will automatically become one of the 'Friends of KCT'.

 Donating

Every pound we raise goes towards the protection of wildlife and enriching the local environment for public benefit, in accordance with our charitable status.

We are grateful for all donations, however small, both from private individuals and from businesses.  If you would like to contribute, please send a cheque payable to ‘Kemerton Conservation Trust’ to the Conservation Advisor, John Clarke, at the address below.  Because we are a registered charity we can claim a tax refund from the government on many donations under the Gift Aid scheme.  If you are an individual paying UK tax and would like us to obtain this benefit, at no extra cost to you, please print out and complete this simple declaration form and enclose it with your donation.

 Volunteering

KCT is very lucky to have a growing band of enthusiastic volunteers who generously give of their time, ranging from a few hours once a year to several hours a month. Volunteers do not require any previous experience and there are tasks to suit all ages and abilities.  Most volunteers report a great sense of accomplishment and enjoyment.  If you would like to become involved please contact volunteer coordinator Kate Aubury by email at kate@aubury.co.uk; or the Conservation Advisor, John Clarke by email at jclarkekem@btinternet.com; or by post at the address above.

For details of our upcoming Work parties, please see 'News & events'.
