Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group. An independent charity which provides farmers and landowners with practical advice on making adjustments to farm operations and enhancing farm features in order to support wildlife, landscape, archeology, access and other conservation issues.

Plantlife is a charity dedicated exclusively to conserving all forms of plant life in its natural habitat: the nation's champion of wild plants.

Founded in 1975 by Vincent Weir, The Vincent Wildlife Trust is an independent charitable body engaged in wildlife research and conservation.

The Game Conservancy Trust is a registered charity that researches the ecology of game species. It also studies the habitat needs of game, and factors limiting survival such as food supplies, predation and disease.

 

Worcestershire has a rich flora and fauna, including many national rarities. The Worcestershire Biodiversity Partnership is an alliance of organisations working within the county who have the common aim of achieving the targets set out in the Worcestershire Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP), the document that outlines the action we will take to conserve and enhance the habitats and species of conservation importance.
The Partnership is committed to the protection and enhancement of the county's natural environment now and for the future.

Worcestershire Biological Records Centre (WBRC) is the Local Records Centre (LRC) for Worcestershire which covers Worcester City, Bromsgrove, Malvern Hills, Redditch, Wychavon and Wyre Forest Districts and the Watsonian county boundary VC37. WBRC acts as the data storehouse for a wide range of biological data including plant and animal records as well as habitat information and aims to provide comprehensive and accurate coverage of Worcestershire's biodiversity.

The British Trust for Ornithology has existed since 1933 as an independent, scientific research trust, investigating the populations, movements and ecology of wild birds in the British Isles.

The Wildlife Conservation Research Unit, known as the WildCRU, has a mission to achieve practical solutions to conservation problems by undertaking original research on aspects of fundamental biology relevant to wildlife conservation and environmental management.

LEAF is a charity helping farmers improve their environment and business performance.

The Marcher Apple Network is reviving old apple varieties in the Southern Marches region.

 

Slipstream Organics has been delivering high quality, organically grown fruits, salads, herbs and vegetables throughout the Cheltenham, Gloucester and Stroud region since 1994. Slipstreams sources organic apples from Lillans Orchard, which is managed by KCT.

Brogdale is home to the National Fruit Collections, the largest collection of varieties of fruit trees in the world. Over 2,300 different varieties of apple, 550 of pear, 350 of plum, 220 of cherry, 320 varieties of bush fruits, as well as smaller collections of nuts & vines are grown here in 150 acres of beautiful orchards.

John Moore Museum is nestled in a row of historic timber-framed buildings close to the Abbey in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.The museum was established in 1980 in memory of the writer and naturalist, John Moore. Today it is also home to an extensive Natural History collection featuring specimens of the mammals and birds native to our countryside, woodlands, wetlands and farmland.

 

The Dragonflies of Worcestershire brings together information county records, distribution maps, best places to see dragonflies in Worcestershire and also allows sightings to be submitted online.  
Worcestershire Bat Group is an active group of amateur and professional bat enthusiasts, dedicated to the conservation of bats in Worcestershire.
RELIC (Replanting Elms in the Countryside) is a joint project between Kemerton Conservation Trust and Warwickshire College aimed at propagating cuttings from Dutch Elm Disease-resistant Elm Trees, growing them and replanting them in the wider countryside.
